Joseph V. Coraci

Joseph V. Coraci is the founder of Estate Planning Solutions, PLLC. A lifelong native of the Detroit Metropolitan area, Joe graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 1998, with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Joe received his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2001.

During and immediately following law school, Joe was employed by a general practice firm. The majority of his focus was in the areas of probate and estate planning where he spent a significant amount of time in the Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County Probate Courts.

In early 2003, Joe decided that his time would be better spent creating plans for his clients to avoid probate court. He was motivated by the client goals of maintaining control, mitigating estate taxes, probate elimination and altogether making the administration of an estate easier on the people who would be left with such a daunting task. To further these goals, Joe joined a mid-sized firm with one of the largest estate planning departments in Michigan. His practice concentrated exclusively on proactive estate planning in order to help clients avert problems before they happen. Over the eight-plus years Joe spent with this firm, he trained many of the attorneys as they were hired and for several years served as the manager of the firm’s entire estate planning department.  Joe left this firm as a partner in 2011, deciding to join a small Troy, Michigan based Firm to help expand its flourishing Estate Planning Department. From early 2011 to late 2013 this Firm experienced significant growth and Joe was able to develop and implement a full service Trust Administration and Probate Department.

In late 2013, Joe formed the Firm of Estate Planning Solutions PLLC, bringing over 12 years of estate planning experience and an unrelenting motivation to provide his clients with the most comfortable and affordable estate planning experience possible.

Joe has prepared over 2500 estate plans during his career and is a member of both the Probate and Estate Planning sections of the State Bar of Michigan.  Joe also has served for many years as a panel attorney for two of the largest legal plans in the Country, ARAG and Hyatt Legal Plans.

Nick Kuusisto

Nick joined Estate Planning Solutions, PLLC as one of our attorneys in 2014.  He completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University where he was a member of the bowling team, and attended law school at Wayne State University.  He has spent his entire legal career practicing in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and business planning.

Nick focuses on a client centered philosophy to his practice.  Developing a relationship with his clients and becoming familiar with their specific familial, emotional, and financial situations allows him to develop a plan to accomplish all client goals in an easy to understand and cost-effective manner.

Nick and his wife live in Commerce Township along with their first child, born in August 2017. He is a fan of all Detroit and Spartan sports teams, and enjoys traveling, golfing, bowling, and boating whenever possible.

Joseph J. Garavaglia

Joseph J. Garavaglia is a lifelong native of the Detroit Metropolitan area. Joe graduated from Lake Superior State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and received a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan. Joe received his Juris Doctor from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Law.

Immediately after graduating from Lake Superior State, Joe began a career in environmental consulting. After earning his master degree, the majority of his focus was regulatory and environmental compliance for large industrial manufacturers, where he spent a significant amount of time in Lansing and Washington D.C. working with government agencies on environmental policies.

While working full time and attending law school in the evenings, Joe realized he wanted to interact with people on a more personal level. He decided to help people prepare for life’s unknowns, and lend a hand during one of the most difficult times in one’s life. To further these aspirations, Joe joined a small-sized estate planning firm. His practice concentrated solely on estate planning, and probate matters. Joe appeared exclusively on all probate hearings in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. He guided and counseled many families through the post-death administrative process. Joe helped develop and grow the firms probate department.

In late 2018, Joe joined Estate Planning Solutions PLLC, bringing over a wealth of experience and knowledge in estate planning and probate matters, and a deep sense of pride in providing his clients a personal estate planning experience
